When booking dining on a Vintage Trains journey, you’ll have your own table for the day, food brought to your seat, and an exclusive view of the scenery unfolding outside through our picture windows.

Our carriages were built for occasions like this, and we’ve made sure the dining matches up.

Most journeys offer dining in two forms, with Pullman Dining taking place in one of our original Pullman Cars, and First Class Dining takes place in our authentic 1960s coaches.

Four course dining options run across the Vintage Trains programme: a Traditional English Breakfast, Afternoon Tea, Sunday Lunch, and a four course evening dinner. The journey and the time you travel will determine the availability of these, but when booking dining in Pullman or First Class, one of these (at least) will be on offer, all prepared and served by our on board team.

Our signature Shakespeare Express journeys also feature dining experiences, with packages available to add on after choosing your departure station.
